Cookie Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how BestOnlineSex (https://www.bestonlinesex.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and the affiliate links in our reviews. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember your choices or recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a comparable way and are covered by this policy too.

What we store ourselves

BestOnlineSex has no user accounts and does not use cookies for advertising. We only store what is needed to remember your display choices:

  • Theme – when you switch between the light and the dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name "theme". It stays there until you clear your browser data and is never sent to us.
  • Language – when you choose a language, a cookie named "NEXT_LOCALE" may be set so that the site opens in that language. It is normally removed when you close your browser.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site: for example which pages are viewed, for how long, from which country and with which type of device. It is loaded through Google Tag Manager, which does not set cookies of its own.

Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

  • _ga – tells visitors apart. Kept for up to 2 years.
  • _ga_<ID> – keeps the state of your current visit. Kept for up to 2 years.

The information is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside your country. We use it only as statistics; we do not use it to identify you. Where the law requires your consent, these cookies are set only after you have given it, and you can withdraw it at any time.

You can read more in Google's Privacy Policy and you can block Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Affiliate links

Many of the links to the sites we review – such as "Join now", "Visit site", "Free tour" and promotion links – are affiliate links. We do not own or operate these sites.

When you follow an affiliate link you leave BestOnlineSex. The site you arrive on, or the affiliate network it works with, may then store cookies in your browser or read an identifier contained in the link, in order to record that you came from us. If you sign up or buy something there, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.

Those cookies are set by the third party, not by us. We cannot read or control them, and their use is governed by the cookie and privacy policies of the site you visit. We do not receive your payment details or your account information from these sites.

How to manage cookies

  • Change or withdraw your consent for analytics cookies at any time, where a consent choice is offered to you.
  • Use your browser settings to see, delete or block cookies, for all websites or for a particular one. Your browser's help pages explain how.
  • Clear your browser data to remove the saved theme choice.

Blocking cookies does not stop you from reading BestOnlineSex; only your display choices may not be remembered.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the services we use change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
