Nutaku
Overview
Nutaku is the largest platform dedicated to adult games, often described as a grown-up answer to Steam. Based in Canada, it hosts well over a hundred titles from many developers, covering role-playing games, strategy, card battlers, dating sims, MMOs and even VR. Games come in three forms: playable in the browser, downloadable for PC, and for mobile. Many are free to play and supported by optional purchases, while premium titles are bought outright. The store is clean and well organised, with filters by genre, developer and language, no advertising, and games that generally run smoothly. Its character is clear. The catalogue leans heavily towards anime and hentai art styles, so players looking for realistic graphics will find little.
The good
- The biggest catalogue of adult games anywhere
- Many free-to-play titles
- Browser, PC download and mobile games
- Clean, ad-free store with useful filters
- Wide range of genres, from casual to hardcore
The bad
- Dominated by anime and hentai art styles
- Free games push in-game purchases
- Few realistic-looking titles
Conclusion
Nutaku is the obvious first stop for adult gaming. The selection is huge, the store is well run, and you can play a great deal without paying. If anime-style art is not for you, the appeal narrows considerably.
